It Takes a Village — Meet our Brand Partners
These days, it can feel like Americans don’t agree on anything. But at Builders we know that we have far more in common than we realize. This summer, we’re inviting Americans across the country to be part of the Builders BBQ Challenge: host a gathering across differences, celebrate your commonalities, and carry that spirit forward — one backyard at a time.

Every Builders BBQ host receives resources, tools, and support designed to help create a welcoming gathering and meaningful conversations.

A Builders BBQ is a simple gathering designed to help people connect with neighbors and community members they may not normally interact with, know well, or agree with. Builders gather in backyards, local parks, apartment courtyards, front porches, community spaces, and everywhere in between. If you can gather people around a table, you can host a Builders BBQ.

The Builders Movement believes Americans have far more in common than what divides us. From pride in our communities to a desire to leave things better than we found them, the values that unite us are often closer than we think.
In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Builders is bringing people together across lines of difference through a nationwide series of community-led BBQs.
It’s not about convincing anyone of anything. It’s about creating space for genuine conversation, shared experiences, and discovering common ground with people whose backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives may differ from our own.
